March Favourites ♡

Hello everybody!
Today I have got a very brief March Favourites for you because I haven't been very adventurous with new makeup or beauty products this month so I am going to include some music and life favourites for a bit of variety. Hope you enjoy, leave a comment saying what you have been loving this month :)

This month my skin has gotten extremely spotty around my forehead area due to excessive chocolate eating during Easter! Woops! The product that helped my spots is this "Biore Charcol Pore Minimiser". If it hadn't been for this and drinking loads of water, my skin would be an absolute mess. It acts as a scrub and I would reccommend using it 2-3 times a week to get the best results.

Biore Charcol Pore Minimiser: £7.99

As previosuly mentioned in my last post, I bought the Miss Sporty Stay 10 hour liquid concealer and it has been my most frequently used product this month. I definitely have to be repurchasing soon as it is so inexpensive and very small which is great to just throw into your handbag or makeup bag. This concealer is a great two-in-one conealer because it is great for concealing undereye dark circles but also it has enough coverage for covering up any spots or blemishes. Although I never wear my makeup for 10 hours, it claims it lasts 1 hours which is a bonus!

Miss Sporty Perfect Stay 10 hour Liquid Concealer: £2.99

Next, I want to talk about this stunning "Blush Sculpt" from Loreal Paris which is a Trio Contouring Blush. When I saw this on the shelf, I was very intriguied by the concept of a bronzer, blush and highlight all in one. When I use this on my cheeks, it gives a lovely flush of colour and a slight illuminating effect from the highlighter. There are 3 shades to choose from, depending on your skin colour but I picked up the middle shade which is Nude Beige 102.
Loreal Paris Blush Sculpt Nude-Beige 102: £7.99
I found it strange that in a world of technology, nobody hardly prints out pictures anymore. Despite having 600+ pictures stored on my iPhone, I have no physical copy of them unless anything happends to it. So I have decided to start a Scrapbook and mine is from WHSmith in this lovely bright zig-zag print. After researching and pinning lots of inspiration on Pinterest, I have now purchased some Washi Tape and Stickers to decorate with. I am so excited to start this project and I really reccommend doing this if you like being creative.

Scrapbook, WHSmith: £9.99

Throughout March, I have had Zayn's new album "Mind of Mine" on REPEAT constantly. I just love the vibes on this ablbum, a mix of R&B and pop influences to create really beautiful songs and Zayn's voice is really dominant on each track. This album really shows how he has matured and left One Direction behind. Sad times for directioners. He even has a beautiful song sung fully in Urdu (his father's native language) which is just breathtaking.

My favourite songs on the album are: Like I Would // sHE // wRoNg

That is all for my March Favourites, thanks for reading :) See you soon with a new delicious baking recipe!

January Favourites ♡

Hello Everyone!

It feels like forever since I've put up my last blog post but I really have missed it. I decided to focus on my studies in January because I had my first set of mock tests which were really an eye-opener as I did nonstop revision for a whole 2 weeks. Hard work really pays off!

As you can see from the title, I am going to share with you all the things I have been loving through the course of January.

I recieved a Soap & Glory set for Christmas with all of their best selling products and I was really excited to try them out. One of my favourites was the "Scrub of your life" Body scrub which is a great polishing scrub without irritating your skin too much. Also, it has a really nice refreshing scent to it. It's a great size aswell so it will last you a long time.

Last month before I out on my mascara, I applied the Benefit "They're Real Tinted Primer" and it really helped with  seperation. It is brown in colour and when you use this on its own it  looks very natural. I definitely noticed the differnce when I didn't use this product because my lashes would clump together and not keep their shape.

I also coincidently got a 2 of the same Lush gift sets from my Mum and auntie in December and it came with a 100g bottle of Snow Fairy shower gel which is now my favorite ever Lush scent because it smells like bubblegum and it's a very sweet scent which I am instantly attracted to in any product. Shower time is now become an exciteable time because Snow Fairy is smells incredible. Love, Love, Love!

Finally I got myself hands on some Converse! I have been (and still am) obssessed with these bad boys and it is my mission to keep them as white and pristine for as long as possible. They go so well with most casual outfits which is great because they're really easy to slip on and off. I tend to tuck the laces underneath as they just look cleaner and cooler with the "no-lace look". Hopefully when I go to Florida in the Summer I can buy some high tops because I love the look of them just as much.

Although this mascara is on the pricey side, the product and packaging is absolutely amazing. It is the "YSL Mascara Volume Effect Faux Cils" and it is said to give a false lash effect and I think when you curl you lashes and put the benefit tinted primer on underneath, it does give the illusion of fake lashes. The wand is great for seperation, volume and gives a slight curl to my lashes. Incredible mascara!

This month I have been loving Bryson Tiller's music, especially his new album "TrapSoul". My favorite songs on the album is "Don't", "Been that Way" and "Exchange". I would say if you like RnB music, you should definitelly have a listen on Youtube when you have a chance.

Pretty Little Liars returned this Januray! I was over the moon because I had withdrawal symptons from the season finale because it finished on a rather big cliff hanger. Although the new season is 5 years time jump, the show has not got any more boring, it is as exciting as ever! Also, the liars all look stunning in the poster, don't you agree?

Thank you for reading! Let me know in the comments what your favourite thing has been this month and how has your new year's resolutions been going?

2015 Favourites

Hello everyone! Hope you all had an amazing Christmas and enjoying your break from school. I am certainly making the most of the holidays by relaxing and having major netflix marathons!
This year I have just been getting into makeup and this means watching endless makeup tutorials and beauty hauls on Youtube. So today I want to share with you all the products I have been enjoying this year.

Starting off with makeup, I think that this Seventeen Contour kit is amazing value for money. It gives you a dark yet soft bronzer aswell as providing you with a lovely subtle higlighter. The packaging is lovely as it comes with a huge mirror which is great for putting in your handbag. Definately going to repurchase :)

My holy grail concealer this year had got to be the Rimmel Wake Me Up concealer which is a more of a illuminating under eye and it also gives a slight shimmer. The consistency is lovely and creamy yet not too thick, very blendable. The only con about it is that the range has very limited colours and luckily classic beige is perfect for my skin.

This lipstick from L'oreal is a great shade for everyday use and suits many different skin tones. It is called "JLo's nude" from the color riche collection. It glides effortlessly on the lips as the consistency is lovely and smooth.

If you haven't heard about this mascara then you are certainly missing out! This is the Lash Sensational mascara from Maybelline, the waterproof version.  First of all, it is amazingly lengthing and applies very evenly, leaving no clumps at all! After hearing all the reviews from beauty gurus, I immediately purchased it and my eyelashes have now thanked me for it!

My two favorite hand creams of the year have been Soap & Glory's "Hand Food" and the Zoella Beuaty "Wonder Hand". Having disgustingy dry grannie hands, these two creams have saved my skin massively! Despite being incredibly moisterising, the refreshing clean smell of them makes it even nicer when applying.

My most favoruite bath product has been the "Luxury Lush Pud" from the Lush Christmas range. Yes, I know, I haven't been using it all year but I have fell in love with this bath bomb very recently. I just am hoping they never discontinue this bath bomb next Christmas!

I don't tend to use many products on my hair however in the colder months it is always good to inject a bit of added moisture into our dry hair. One product that I have been using for months and months is the Aussue Miracle Recharge Moisture Spray. As you can probably tell from the name, it's like a miracle to your hair after you spray this. Either on dry or wet hair, a few spritzes of this will change your dull hair into lovely shiny locks.

Lastly, my skincare favorites have been the Garnier Micellar Cleaning Water and the Clearasil SKin Perfecting Wash. To take off my makeup, I find makeup wipes very harsh and stubborn on my skin but now I use a Micellar water on a cotton pad, my skin has reacted very well to it. There are many skincare brands who now do this but going from reviews and personal use, Garnier's is the best.

I actually cannot rave about this face wash enough! Affordable, life changing, moistering...Just amazing! My skin isn't amazingly clear but after using this from about August to now, hardly any breakouts and I think it is down to this face wash! Obviously it will not be great for all skin types but I have a combined skin type and it works great.

My TV favourite of the year has to be Pretty Little Liars, of course! Although I started at the beginning of the year, I completely binge watched on Netflix and I was blown away. I was ( and still am) obsessed with PLL and I am so excited for part 2 of season 6 in January!

Thanks for reading and I will see you in 2016!
As always, comments much appreciated and let me know your favotourite products from 2015 :)

What I Got For My Birthday 2015!

Hello Everyone!
Last weekend, it was my 14th birthday and I was spoilt rotten by by amazing friends and family. When it comes to people's birthdays, I am extremely nosy as far as presents are concerned; what people got and what they asked for so I hope you are just as curious!
(I am not trying to boast in any way, shape or form)

I mainly asked for money from my close family as it is the October half term holiday this week so I am planning a pretty huge shopping spree! I am so excited to pick up all the new products from the Halloween & Christmas Lush ranges. Would you guys like to see a Lush haul? However my friends and other family members got me some very sweet presents from Chocolate and Candles to Bath Bombs and Bed Socks!

Mugs

Oh my goodness how cute are these mugs?! Firstly this coral mug is the perfect size for a hot chocolate or tea and I am in love with everything about it. The quote is probably my favourite aspect of it because I am a huge daydreamer!
The second mug from Tesco is very cute and dainty mug, covered in a delicate floral pattern and it is slightly smaller than the coral mug.

Makeup

One of my closest friends bought be this "Seventeen Lip Crayon Collection" with 4 stunning and high pigmented colours. 2 are glosses and 2 are matte which are very useful set for everybdy's individual preference. I am sure that the Nude Glossstick will be gone very quickly!

How stunning is this eyeshadow palette from Maybelline? My heart starting pounding when I unwrapped this because I really wanted a nude eyeshadow palette with colours for everyday use. I highly reccomend this palette because it is only £10.99 and the colours are so pigmented for a drugstore product!

Perfume

A stunning flirty scent for special occassions with understones of salty vanilla and fresh floral scents, this perfume is a rare perfume which I love. I have smelt it before I recieved it as a present which I was impressed how my Mum remembered! Also the bottle is super cute and overall it's a lovely product.

Beauty

"Wonder Hand",
"Fresh Fizz"
"Lace collar coin purse"

I can't tell you how excited to see an array of Zoella products sitting in the gift bag when my Best friend handed me this! The colours and design of the packaging is absolutely beautiful. The lid of "Wonder Hand" is Rose Gold... Ahhh! Just a wonderful range of products and the scent of the Fizz bar has undertones of blueberry and acai as it it part of the "Tutti Fruity" collection. However, the hand cream is the original fresh scent.

Strawberry is a lovely smell for all times of the year and in this trio comes with a minature shower scrunchie, body wash and body butter. Lovely!

My very generous friend got me a "Think Pink" lush bath bomb (Smells Amazeballs), a box of bath fizzers and a mini candle scented with Peppermint and Eucalyptus. A very fresh and invigorating scent for such a tiny candle! My future baths are going to smell freaking fantastic!

Some very adorable pieces of New look jewlery and a Vanilla mini bag with a Body Spritz and a Body lotion which slightly too sweet in my opinion because the vanilla is the only aspect in the scent. It comes in a lovely jade green bag perfect for a essential makeup bag :)

Others

As soon I took this picture, being the chocoholic I am, scoffed down every last piece of chocolate. If you ever see the Lindt Cookies & Cream chocolate anywhere, PICK UP ONE! I think have now discovered my holy grail chocolate because it tastes lush! You may think I'm crazy but I cannot rave enough about this chocolate enough its amazing.

The notebook is also super cute and I will definately be using this for school and note taking  in class.

Last, but not least, are these fluffy bed socks from Next. I'm sure on those chilly Winter nights these ultra cosy socks will come in handy!
Thank you everyone for my amazing presents. I really want to know "What has your favoruite birthday present been ever?" I really appreciate all your comments and I will return the favour!

My Everyday Makeup

Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer in "Classic Beige"
Collection Speedy Blusher in "01 Tickled Pink"
Benefit Roller Lash Mascara
Soap & Glory Wonderbronze Shimmer Brick
Soap & Glory Glosstick in "Nudist"

1. My first step after cleansing and moisturising my skin is to blend my conceler with a damp beauty blender sponge under my eyes to reduce dark circles. Also, I apply concealer on any redness or blemishes I have. I use: Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer in "Classic Beige"

2. After concelaer, I like to take a fluffy powder brush and set my under eye concealer to make it last longer with Rimmel Stay Matte powder. I use the translucent shade because if I used a browner shade to match my skin tone, it would add extra coverage which could make me look cakey. Less is more!

4. To add some colour into my cheeks, I lightly dust "Wonderbronze" onto the tops of my cheeks and blend upwards.

5. Also, to give that "Sunkissed Beach Babe" look, I also apply some bronzer around the temple of my forehead.

6. I take my cream blush and apply a small amount on the apple of my cheeks. I find that smiling whilst doing this helps see where I should be applying the cream blush. Then I bend that in my skin with my fingers. My cream blush of choice: Collection Speedy Blusher in "01 Tickled Pink"

7. For school, they frown upon heavy makeup so I only use mascara to look a bit more awake. A few coats of roller lash, and I am good to go! I use: Benefit "Roller Lash"

8. Lastly I apply Vaseline or carmex under my lipstick then one of the two products in the picture above. I always use a lip balm underneath just to hydrate my lips as they get very dry in A/W. They are the perfect nude which suits all skin tone and they are a really nice creamy consistency.

L'OREAL PARIS collection exclusive by JLo (colour-"JLo's Nude")
Soap & Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Mini Gloss Stick (colour- "Nudist")

10 best things about Autumn

It's finally October! Halloween and all things fall are coming your way! I have got to admit the cosy feeling on a chilly Autumn evening with the fire on and oversized jumpers are just the best. Here are 10 reasons why Autumn (or fall) is just the best.

1. The autumnal hot drinks

Hot chocolates, lattes, chai teas and Pumpkin spice lattes!

2. Fuzzy socks, dressing gowns and all that comfy ish

Anything fluffy, soft and that makes you feel all snug is a must in these colder months.

3. Autum/Winter fashion

Flannel shirts, coats, boots, jumpers, scarves, tights and hats. Now's the time to whip out our oversized hoddies!

4. Halloween

Halloween is a great excuse to watch the scariest horrors, get dressed up and eat  excessive amounts of sweets

5. Rainy days

There is nothing more calming than the soothing sounds of the rain against the window pane. Rainy days are the perfect oppurtunity to binge watch pretty little liars, orange is the new black and have a disney movie sing along.
